Foundation Support and Government SupportPrivate, family, corporate, and community foundation grants and government grants from county, state, and federal agencies are critical sources of support for the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.

Foundation and government grants provide support for Wolf Trap’s general operating costs as well as for our signature programs, including Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts, the Wolf Trap Opera Company and Opera Studio, Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, our Face of America series, and more. In turn, the programs and services that Wolf Trap provides to our community have a lasting impact on the tens of thousands of children, families, caregivers, and teachers we serve through our education programs, the next generation of opera stars that participate in our renowned opera training programs, and the hundreds of people each year that witness outstanding performances at The Barns and the Filene Center.

Wolf Trap is truly grateful to receive the support of foundations and government agencies.
