A blues diva for the 21st century, Copeland showcases fierce vocals and a sassy attitude on her recent release, Never Going Back, which The Washington Post calls “infectious.”

• Copeland’s final song on the new release is “Circumstances,” written by her father, the late famed guitarist Johnny Copeland.
• Copeland has opened for the Rolling Stones and shared the stage with John Mayer, Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, and B.B. King.
